Review of Drowning by Numbers (1988) by Paul W — 19 Aug 2007
Brilliantly and boldly mathmatical whimsy bolstered by an ascerbic and oh so English wit. Its all played like an art house Carry On film and possibly the most enjoyable and lightest of Peter Greenaway's films.
Joan Ploughwright is just magic in this and excells in capturing teh state of bemusement surely felt by most of the films viewers.
