Review of Drop Zone (1994) by John . — 26 Mar 2008

I really enjoyed this, Wesley Snipes doesn't take himself too seriously and is on the wrong end of the joke a couple of times (when he does a parachute jump and is all exited about it but everyone else just thinks he's an idiot).

Gary Busey makes a great bad guy, Yancy Butler isn't there just to look pretty she is very much a part of the action (she is so much better in this than she was in Hard Target). The plot is a bit far fetched and some of the close-ups in the skydiving scenes are spoilt by some very bad green screen effects.

Overall a good action comedy.
