The critics are completely wrong even the synapses of this movie on Xbox One is wrong.

The real just is that her big city cheating husband cheated on her she went to live with her mother unsealed her imaginary friend from where her mother trapped her imaginary friend Fred you'll see it in one of those flashbacks essentially she goes on a journey realizing her delusion of her big city cheating husband or mine was fake Sherry connects with the high school nice guy good man who has a daughter of his own and through this entire ordeal she's being shown the truth about her mother the truth about her cheating big city husband and then she goes into a Dreamland where she deflates the delusion the knight in shining armor of her big city husband who cheated and then she finds herself taped to a bed like her boyfriend was taped inside that Jack in the Box and when she freeze herself or inner child at least she come her. There's no need for the imaginary friend anymore and then she tells that big city cheating husband bus ticket from mother to get her friend and she starts dating a nice guy whose daughter has the exact same imaginary friend that she did in the only reason I'm writing this is because holy molie is not what I remember from my viewings of the movie and that's what this movie is about finding your own independence in touch with your inner child standing up for yourself.
