Aside from the fact that this movie stars phoebe cates, who has to be the most beautiful woman ever to walk the earth. it also happens to be one of the best, AND last great kid movies from the end of the 80's and beginning of the 90's.
rick mayall is superb as the totally insane fred. it's a great story with a good message that works for kids and adults. its also directed with real skill particular the fantasy sequence at the end.
its got a quirky and upbeat soundtrack to finish it all off.
