Review of Driving Miss Daisy (2015) by Steve S — 31 Jan 2013
Because an elderly lady has become a menace behind the wheel, her son hires her a black chauffeur. What starts as a tug-a-war of personalities, and it is only after many years that the two can look back and admit the depth of their friendship.
A touchingly sweet film, with a bittersweet ending that is just perfect. Freeman and Tandy deliver very strong performances.
