Review of Driving Miss Daisy (2015) by Bill C — 31 Mar 2013
In 20th century America distance is measured in football fields, freedom by the number of times you say it, and the historical passage of time by car model.
Here our story takes us from a 1949 Hudson Commodore to a 1971 Mercedes Benz 300 SEL. About 30 other very identifiable vintage American automobiles fill out the story. And, oh yes, there is some boring stuff about southern Jews, Blacks, and Dr. Martin Luther King.
