Review of Driving Miss Daisy (1989) by Liz — 29 Jan 2012
Well made and beautifully acted, yet not my cup of tea. The plot seemed obsolete; hardly a single thing happened, and the writers danced around racism-- dipping their toes-- but never submerged into the ever-present subject.
It was disappointing. Yet Freeman saved the day and made the entire deal watchable.
