Review of Drive (2011) by Omar H — 11 Mar 2014
As disturbing as the appearance of the movie title⦠I mean with an opening soundtrack like that, neon colored fontsâ¦i really didn't know what I was expecting. Gosling as this introvert of a guy who clearly has some issues you would think is the second last person who'd get into any sort of trouble.
But every character in this film is very interesting. We don't have much information to go by, but every interaction screams unconventional and awkward almost, but somehow creates a unique chemistry.
The events that unfold during the film is reflective of Gosling's character's personality. Quiet, gentleâ¦and then downright psychotic. He's mood sets the pace of the film which makes it both engaging and masterful.
