Review of Drive (2011) by Connor S — 23 Mar 2014
One of the best crime thrillers in a long time. Drive is off beat in the Hollywood scene and all the better for it, the character's relationship to the female lead and his motivations are much more mature than you would find in a mainstream action flick.
The 80's vibe and the uneasy atmosphere are expertly crafted. Though the violence is full on, it never feel unnecessary.
