I very much liked the style in which this was filmed. It almost felt as if it was supposed to be more like a live recording with the characters unaware of being filmed. But the problem that stood out to me was this, the characters don't talk to each other.

The only one who said what he was feeling was Chris when he broke up with Kate and we didn't even get to see that. We learn this happens because of the context clues of when she walks into work claiming to be single.

And it's so clear that Kate and Luke like each other but never say anything about it. And Kate takes advantage of Luke because he's a great guy and at the end we see the two slowly becoming friends again.

Interesting concept and I feel like it could have been executed a bit better with some character conversation. Also the fact that Luke won't talk to Jill about marriage is a huge red flag and she should have cut and run.

It felt like the movie was full of people constantly talking to each other but not actually offering the message they wanted to convey.
