Review of Drinking Buddies (2013) by Arth J — 04 Jan 2018
This drama about a pair of opposite sex best friends commits the two worst sins in movies: it is supremely boring and utterly pointless. I love Anna Kendrick, but even her presence could not lift this beyond pure crap.
The characters spend an eternity trying not to be attracted to each other (and failing miserably) when facing various situations that are not very interesting, however they never act on it. Instead we get sighs and angst and arguments.
.. they do not grow from it - they are the same at the end of the movie as they are at the beginning.
