Review of Drinking Buddies (2013) by Dan L — 13 May 2014
Feeds off of fine performances from Johnson and Wilde, and more-than-accurately evokes the 'is she right for me' second thought. The tension is real and likely applicable to all who've been exposed to a party atmosphere.
I can't help but admit that this film reminisces upon one's regretful past, and yet it requires some will power to accept the justice in the film's resolution. Gut-wrenching throughout and creatively constructed, Drinking Buddies won't let you down if you're looking for a light, clever drama.
