Review of Drinking Buddies (2013) by Emily B — 10 Nov 2015
The story is simple and the characters are awkwardly real, even a little immature. I found the whole film so relatable, though, it was refreshing. I'm a huge fan of minimalist plot lines, as they allow the characters to take center stage and really shine.
I think Drinking Buddies in particular serves as a reminder that, when it comes to love, "cool and casual" is a miserable façade.
