Review of Dressed to Kill (1980) by Masorad ( — 13 Dec 2009
Dickinson's body double doubles in a Psycho homage/plagiarism, Dickinson does Kim Novak in a Vertigo homage/plagiarism, Caine updates Bates, Margulies is a retread of Psycho's psychologist, Keith Gordon channels Encyclopedia Brown, Dennis Franz should've pistol-whipped wardrobe, Pino Donaggio is a hack.
The split screen segment with Donahue is fun. With the passage of time, however, the work is clearly more plagiarism than homage.
