Review of Dressed to Kill (1980) by Kyle A — 24 Oct 2013
Crap with a capital C. Brian knows how to make films, but he sure as hell seems to have little conception of character and its divisions with reality. Instead, he knew (his methods are outdated now) how to evoke the feeling of reality in the viewer by utilizing first person shots and other expressionistic methods.
This comes off as gimmicky and showoffy. These talents would be better suited elsewhere.
