Review of Dressed to Kill (1980) by Naische F — 22 Feb 2009
Brian DePalma directs another tribute to Alfred Hitchcock's classic suspense thrillers. Great cast that includes Sir Michael Caine, Angie Dickinson, Nancy Allen and Dennis Franz (playing a cop once again).
A lot of unnecessary camera tricks and visuals that leave hardly any surprises. The performances are more interesting, but the film never really takes off, nor leaves the viewer on the edge of their seats.
Not DePalma's finest hour!
