Bloody amazing, bare-bones action film to the core. Hearkens back to the first Die Hard with a more modern sense of aesthetics. I love the dystopian feel, the grimy hallways, the dour-looking Dredd... there is so much appealing to the visual range in this movie.
Don't pass it up because you read some scathing reviews. It might be a simple premise, but that doesn't indicate a poorly made movie or script, it just indicates... simplicity. Not everything has to be complex to be good, and Judge proves that point quite well.
