Happily surprised. It's really too bad this wasn't rewarded better at the box office. For the kind of movie that it is (cop and new partner vs bad guys) it's easily above average. On a side note, it's one of the few movies I'd actually recommend the 3D version of the 2nd know that I've seen both.
It's got one of the best 3D effects (and yes it adds the scene) I've ever seen.
