Review of Dredd (2012) by Nuno B — 15 Nov 2015
Dark, brutal, and gritty, Dredd is much more true to the comic-book source material that it's based on in contrast to its 1995 predecessor, Judge Dredd. Karl Urban is perfectly casted as the title character, and delivers an excellent performance alongside the unique, stylish, and brutal action scenes.
Lena Headey does a good job as the villianess Ma-ma. If your looking for an intense movie-going experience, Dredd definitely delivers on that promise.
