When you think about some of the current franchise films that are hits and get movie after movie it seems almost criminal that Dredd was such a financial flop. It deserved so much better. A great action film with Urban perfectly cast as Dredd.

Advertising & promotion played their part in its failure with almost nothing in the way of hype created. Also to release only in 3d in some cinemas was a big mistake and must have hurt ticket sales.

Still highly recommended.
