So, I'm trying to get into classic directors. And I started with this Kurosawa film. Why?? Well, MCR based a part of their Black Parade video on it...I'm a loser. However, the movie is much more than deathly soldiers.
It consists of eight short stories, or dreams. The first thing you notice is the splendor of the scene. They are stunning to look at. Bold color and breathtaking landscapes dominate every dream. My personal favorite story was the first, so if you watch it, you know which one I liked best.
