Honestly, tortured and killing movie is not my type. Apart from those bloody scenes which I don't like, it is quite ironic movie which explained lots of weird situations in HK or even in Taiwan. Extremely high house pricing, annoying telemarketing sales, ridiculous stock market and etc.
I think this movie is trying to criticize such situation via its own way. But the story still has some parts which are not logical and the ending is quite weak.
