Graphic, violent, brutal slasher that manages to be something more than that. I wouldn't go so far as to say it "transcends" its slasher roots, but it does bring more to the table than just grue.
The slightly non-linear style adds a bit more motivation to the goings-on. Be warned, though: it is still a brutal film.
