Review of Dread (2009) by Carlos I — 09 Sep 2014
I would like to read Clive Barkers short.
story. The ideas behind the narrative are very interesting but it doesnt really work as an entertaining film. It really isn't that fun. While the characters are some what relatable, you never care about the main three. I would warn anyone that decides to watch this movies that hands down the most likable character has a heart breaking storyline that would have served better as the main story. Overall it is probably one of the better after dark releases.
After meeting a strange new friend out side of his philosophy class, Sean, is offered a interesting opportunity for a thesis film. The problem, maybe his new friends project in dread might be far more than he bargained for.
