Review of Dread (2009) by Zakkyl H — 30 Aug 2010
A psychological thriller that's not too original on the story, Dread tells us a college student who has a traumatic experience as a child when he watched his family were slayed (the killing is gruesome and stomach churning) by an unknown killer (or robber?) who just broke into his house and killed everyone in it except him. Years afterward, he tries to fight his fear to the beast (the killer) by becoming like the beast himself and begins to prey on everyone around him (his college friends).
Short review :
Slow pace and rather dull to me, but it has its moment.
