Review of Drained (2006) by Andre V — 24 Dec 2009

This is a weird piece of entertaining. The story include a pawn shop proprietor with some issues - mostly about his drain at his workplace bathroom. It also include a glass eye, lots of cigarette smoking and a great ass. Need less to say - this script is awesome.

You are NEVER able to predict the next scene, or even the following sentence in this great Brazilian movie. It's funny, dark comedy like and it's keeping you interested and curious through the entire play time. It's wrapped up with a great soundtrack, a brilliant cinematography and amazing performances. This truly makes it a overlooked gem. Weird, but not to weird, really funny but you doesn't really laugh out loud all the time. This is artistic but stil enjoyable for most movie lovers. It will give you a wonderfully weird movie experience.
