Review of Dragonslayer (1981) by Andrew N — 09 Aug 2007
Some idiot used footage from this movie, and footage from the Lord of the rings to fool ever one there was going to be an adaptation of the Hobbit in 2006. besides that this movie is very strange but not in a good way it made me nausious, crap lighting crummy cameras, no charicter development.
they are rin some village that the writers made every one think they were either in some magical fairy land, or in some town in England during the middle ages where every one has American accents with the exception of a few charicters caus they were old.
Or they made you think they were in some studio in Northern California with some exterior shots for fire and crap. at the end of the road this movie is not very good, you would either have to be an eight year old with excessive amounts of Imagination, or an elderly Gentelman showing this to your grand son who is eight years old and has an excessive Imagination to really enjoy this film but for every one else this movie would suck Elephant testicles.
This is an atrocious film, with many elements going on for about an hour, until you realize you just wasted an hour on this load of shit. This film was proably made to attract kids familiar with The Hobbit or any other Fantasy story from the late sixties early seventies.
