Review of Dragonslayer (1981) by Jake C — 17 Apr 2010
This is a pretty cool movie for its genre especially considering it was made back in '81. It's about the closest thing you could get to a live action version of Lord of the Rings or D&D back then. I still try and watch it when it's on AMC.
The biggest question about this movie is "What the hell were my parents thinking taking me to see this when I was 7 years old???" It's dark and a bit slow in parts, old men get stabbed and shot with arrows,women getting sacrificed to the dragon & its babies eat people.
