Dragonslayer is a very good fantasy film for its time. The film stars Peter MacNicol (Ghostbusters II). There's also an appearance by Ian McDiarmid (Star Wars saga).
A fun movie and well made. Lord of the Rings (the films) owe their existence to this film.
