Review of DragonHeart (1996) by Enrique S — 09 Oct 2008
Goofy. Most of it was mediocre, but the dragon was extremely well done, which is pretty much what I was there for. My only complaints on that score: The snout was too round, and the skin was only scaly in some places, so he had more of a dinosaur-like appearance than lizardlike.
The voice sync wasn't perfect. Also, somehow Sean Connery's voice didn't seem to quite fit...I think the dragon looked (and acted?) too young. In the end though, still an excellent dragon.
..if only the rest of the movie wasn't around to sully it.
