Review of DragonHeart (1996) by Dave A — 18 Jul 2012
Dragonheart is above-average; it's a fun, sword-and-sorcery style movie. Dennis Quaid and Sean Connery star in the lead roles, and to the film's credit, they help make it what it is. Quaid's a hunter trying to kill off Connery, the last dragon, but the two of them eventually become friends.
And then we got Professor Lupin being the vindictive, evil king who has half a dragon heart in him. It's a good movie and it's widely considered to have had some of the best visual effects of the 90s (Connery's dragon looks pretty damn legit most of the time).
