Review of DragonHeart (1996) by Amelita A — 23 Apr 2010

To date, my favorite dragon movie. Though the name of the movie would lead one to believe that the main character is the dragon, the main protagonist is really Bowen (Quaid). I thought the character development of Bowen was handled quite well, showing the progression from full of hope to world weary and cynical to his final transformation into a "knight of the old code.

" Sean Connery did an exceptional job as the voice of the dragon (Draco) and the facial expressions of the dragon were done quite well. As an added bonus, the soundtrack was very well written and remains among my favorites of all time.
