Review of Dragonfly (2014) by Dave C — 24 Jun 2007
This movie attempts to dig deep, exploring themes of faith, the supernatural, life after death and human love and emotion. This is a lot to grapple with, and there certainly are moments where this film pushes you to think.
It also manages to be part thriller, as there certainly are moments that will make you jump. And finally it's got a decent emotional heart. Costner often tends to be a hit or miss type actor, either coming across believable or failing to find true chemistry with his character.
Here he comes off as somewhat emotionally distant, but it doesn't ruin the movie.
