What a terrible film this is, I mean the only reason to own this film is for the comedy. Let's start off with the characters, no one is the way there supposed to be and Justin Chatwin as Goku was horrible and lazy.
The only good character was James Marsters as Piccolo, who wasn't even used enough. Then there is plot, which is not even close to the Anime or Manga, it is a dumb story that was thrown together in an hour and a half.
The special effects were hammed up and dumb, it looked like the whole thing was done in the computer, and I know this is the world of Dragon Ball, but can't they make things look realistic. Then there is the horrible martial arts in this film that not everyone does correctly, and Justin Chatiwin proves in this film that he can't fight worth crap.
Also everything is done with immense flying around and terrible punching. Other than that, this film was a punch in the gut to true Dragon Ball, Z, and GT, fans. I'm just glad that hopefully the sequel will not come into being because of how bad this film is.
So, just for the laughs this film gets a 2 out of 10.
