Review of Dragonball Evolution (2009) by Mloy X — 04 Mar 2011

Ok the animated series isn't exactly Shakespear to begin with but atleast it had kick-ass fighting scenes... this unfortunately couldn't even muster that (although props to Jamie Chung & Eriko Tamura for trying) and that Kamehameha was so weak Klillin could've done better.

I can understand how avid fans can find this movie blasphemous.....with that said, here's the other shoe, I'm sorry but I found this movie entertaining! Maybe in a more comical way than intended, but I got a kick out of seeing a live-action Son Goku, Master Roshi, Chi-chi and Bulma, there's just something funny about it-- maybe it just reminded me so much of the old cheesy, yet always fun to watch, Tokusatsu series like Kamen Rider, Ultraman or Super Sentai.
