Sooo... *sighs* I guess you could say this movie is bad.

I mean, it is. It really sucks.

But put within a context of, oh.. other movies that suck.. like, hey! Some people think avatar or titanic suck.

Or movies that suck because 'Times have changed' like watching song of the south or Tron.

There are disappointment movies like 'A Scanner, Darkly' where its good. Kindof. Good for what it is. But not. But trippy, cel-shaded, artsy-fartsy type stuff disappointment. Dragon wars: D-war fails on all those levels and many more.

Lets begin: Dragon wars: D-War, the D-war is excessive. Just stick with one or the other dragon reference.

Two: The CGI is.. interesting.

Three: You got a respectable actor to introduce your heavily-Asian movie? The story he tells is rushed, not explained, not entertaining and laden with FAILCOMEDY?

Four: Once the story moves along, it also really doesnt.

Five: Set pieces. Very.. interesting.

Six: You go into it REALLY expecting to find SOMETHING. I mean really, anything? Please?

Seven: It doesnt take itself seriously. But it does, in a kind of .. high production value for its time way.

Eight: Too long for being a glorified anime.

Nine: Dragons dont have any wings.

Except the ones with wings.

But the wings are redundant.

And its more slithering, less.. dragony stuff.

Ten: I had a roommate they call 'Homeless Jesus', he loved watching stupid movies. THis was one of the worst. John, you suck.
