Review of Drag Me to Hell (2009) by Blake F — 02 May 2012
Sam Raimi takes a sudden departure from the Spider-Man series, largely in part, I'm guessing, due to the negative criticism over the over-the-top Spider-Man 3, back into familiar territory. Happily, the departure is a natural one and we can rest peacefully knowing the master who brought us Evil Dead 2 is alive and well.
Perhaps more of his classic slapstick comedy/horror flicks will grace the cinemas sometime soon. One can only hope for that or a better attempt at the web crawler with the newer Spider-Man.
