Review of Drag Me to Hell (2009) by Amjad A — 17 May 2013
Drag Me To Hell is actually a brilliantly shot and greatly constructed film with a few humorous scenes thrown in. It doesn't take itself seriously. Sam Raimi basically satirises the hell out of this movie.
The plot is ridiculous, the acting is mediocre, but it was just done to the point where the audience appreciates the way this film was meant to be portrayed. Not Sam Raimi's best, but definitely one of the best horror films of the last decade.
