Have people watched a different movie? Its not funny, or scary. Plot is simplistic, yet still done poorly. How is there plot holes when the plot is essentially just a collection of what has already been done.

Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead was overrated, and this is way worse than that (didn't know he directed this till I had watched it so not biased). The acting is poor, its cheesy, and the tone changes every moment.

This film is for idiots, I am sure of it. It spells everything out; where is the subtlety? I couldn't stop rolling my eyes. It does what it sets out to do so its quite hard to criticise, but that just means it was flawed from the start.

Please tell me big budget horror has more to offer than this.
