Review of Drag Me to Hell (2009) by Robert I — 22 Jan 2013
I've been worried about Sam Raimi, don't get me wrong I LOOOVE Spider-Man more than the next guy, but when it comes to horror, I thought the ship sailed. This film proves to be fresh, fun, invigorating, scary, touching, and funny.
Sam Raimi injects so much personality and sincerity into this film, you will lament that he's making two more Spider-Man films before doing another non-superheroic film again. The commercials all lie, this movie is more than another lame PG-13 horror film.
This is a GREAT TIME at the theater; this is what movies are all about. Buy lots of popcorn.
