Review of Dracula's Daughter (1936) by Andrew F — 02 Oct 2007
Since vampire movies are predominantly about predatory males stalking and seducing females, it is an interesting reversal to see a female character. I can also appreciate that they tried to make a very different film, instead ofsimply remaking the original with a different vampire.
A bit more serious than Son of Dracula, but neither of them holds a candle to the original.
