Dracula Untold was almost stabled with high superiority of being a major blockbuster hit, but ultimately failed. Over the course of the first two Acts, the following was mildly epic with significant use of visual effects, but it the third Act went in the direction of clichés as its led astray by a predictable finale, which leaves the rest of the movie forgettable, for the screenplay is overused with silly dialogue and is, too, misleading, and director Gary Shore leaves the audience convinced that this is just one of the year's dull popcorn movies and totally unrelated to the tale of Dracula.

One of the great things about Dracula Untold, is Luke Evans, who suits the part of Vlad a.k.a Dracula well, as he gets into character in Vlad's dark clothing and red armour, which contains a logo of a red dragon. He's another fictional, mythical/historical sword-wielding figure, killing oppenents, opposing injustice and fighting for freedom, but his presence in the movie is nothing compared to my favourite mythical characters, such as: Conan: The Barbarian and the Prince of Persia.

Dracula Untold also doesn't promise reasonable use of cinematography - whilst the iconic moments of the battle and action sequences are perfectly filmed, most of the landscapes and main locations in the midst and the surrounding of the story are disappointing, for there's nothing significantly interesting to see of Vlad's kingdom and homeland, which is nothing new.
