Review of Dracula Untold (2014) by Bryan E — 21 Mar 2015
The film is mediocre, but what is unfortunate is how much better this film could have been. Without credits the movie is only 83 minutes long. It breezes through story quickly and focuses more so on okay PG-13 action sequences. This movie could have been a potential 3 hour epic going into the history of Vlad the Impaler and the wars he fought, leading up to him becoming Dracula. The movie skims over this in a minute.Plus there could have been more of a focus on the slavery of Vlad's people.
In the end the film needed more storyline and character development and an R rating.
