Review of Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968) by Adam R — 19 Dec 2010
It's a shame that the first half hour is wasted in tedious exposition, because once the movie gets going it's got some of the best Drac action and atmospherics in the Hammer series. There's a definite tone of horror, religion, and eroticism that sums up the Hammer mystique.
Some nice flourishes in Freddie Francis' direction.
