As an avid Hammer mega-fan, I had a lot of fun with this film. Freddie Frances's use of lens filters gave this film the distinction of being one of the best looking of the series. Religious symbolism and questions of faith and disbelief abound, but for the most part I found it very entertaining.
...even if Dracula's reflection can be seen in a pool of water!
