Review of Dracula 2000 (2000) by Galaxy Quest P — 16 Jul 2012

Good Movie Gone Bad, but give it a chance. It's a fun spook-action film that borrows heavily from the legend of Dracula, but sets the master vampire in the modern world. It has some great ideas that are never realized, but it has enough action and well-done cinematography & effects to keep it entertaining.

The Look of the Film is very sexy. Style was obviously important to the producers - now if someone had just put half that much effort and thought into the dialogue and plot...we'd have a great film.

Instead, it's a fun 'kill the monster/save the girl' romp with a little gore on the side + one inspired/unrealistic moment with hedge-clippers.
