Review of Dracula (1958) by Shayne A — 26 Mar 2008
I don't know if this film is as reveered as much as it is because it's really that good, or because there's relatively few good vampire flicks out there in the first place! Entertaining enough to watch, some horrible over-acting from the support cast but solid stuff from Cushing and Lee.
For me, the scariest stuff were down to Lee's bloodshot contact lenses and manic, staring eyes. Perhaps worth a watch, but you won't really be missing much if you never get round to seeing it.
