Review of Dracula (1958) by Adam H — 19 Dec 2008
Yet another movie that turns Count Dracula into a boring, erotically charged romantic loser, rather than the megalomaniacal anti-christian figure in the novel. Poor old Christopher Lee is given a total of three lines.
Shoot the scriptwriter. But it has Peter Cushing in it and it it visually impressive. Not for fans of the book. It commited the ultimate blasphemy of insult Renfiled's character. Best ending of any Dracula movie, though.
