Review of Dracula (1958) by Rod A — 07 Aug 2008
The fire of this film comes with Cushing's intensity and (in his sparse screen appearences) Lee's smouldering sexuality and malevolence. Exterior forest shots are especially creepy. Campy acting weighs down several other parts of the film.
It's worth seeing if only to see how things had progressed from Lugosi's depiction. Definitely creepy.
