Review of Dracula (1958) by Liam U — 30 May 2009
There is definitely a quaint old charm to this movie, with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing giving memorable performances, but unfortunately the movie struggles to be entertaining. The acting is as expected from a Hammer film - not very good, the plot propels along at an alright pace but the movie lacks any real excitement until it's too late and then it's finished.
Could have been worse but was hoping for better.
